In 2001, the Lord enabled us to start a sewing centre to reach the Dalit women in our neighbourhood — housewives, widows, and school dropouts who could not continue their studies for reasons beyond their control. Today those women earn their living decently.
Each batch takes 10 to 12 women through a full training course. At the end, every one of them receives a certificate and a sewing machine of her own. Training covers not only sewing technique but also business management and basic financial literacy. While the women are with us, we share the Gospel and teach them about Jesus — and through them, whole families have come to faith.
Based at Malyala Village, Bommalaramaram Mandal, Yadadri–Bhongir District, Telangana, serving the surrounding villages. Part of the work of Great Commission Ministries since 1994.
Women without steady income sources or family support systems seeking economic security.
Women from disadvantaged backgrounds aiming to lift their families out of poverty.
Girls and young women seeking vocational training and entrepreneurial opportunities.
One of the young women who trained with us gave her life to Jesus during the course. When she married, she was able to share the Gospel with her husband and her in-laws, and led them all to Christ.
With the sewing machine we gave her, she now earns her own living and is a genuine financial support to her husband and the rest of the family.
One machine. One woman. An entire household changed — economically and spiritually.
Your support equips women with skills, machines, and confidence to build independent, thriving lives.
