Dalit Care & Anti-Human Trafficking

Dalit Care Centres

GCM operates Dalit Care Centres reaching marginalised families with basic needs — food, clothing, and education. We provide books to children in the villages and encourage them to stay in school.

The centres function as the point of first contact between GCM and families in crisis, and are frequently the route by which a child at risk is identified before the situation becomes critical.

Based at Malyala Village, Bommalaramaram Mandal, Yadadri–Bhongir District, Telangana, serving the surrounding villages. Part of the work of Great Commission Ministries since 1994.

Anti-Human Trafficking

Sex crimes are rising, and human trafficking is among the most serious challenges the government and NGOs are combating. GCM currently assists those caught in this situation to alleviate their suffering, and intends to expand into full rehabilitation work for those who wish to leave.

This is not theoretical work for GCM. Children currently in our care were rescued directly from trafficking or from families where trafficking was the intended outcome for them.

A Note on Privacy To protect the children and families involved, this page carries no identifying detail. No names, photographs, village names, or dates of rescue are published for anyone affected by trafficking. This is both a legal requirement under India's Juvenile Justice Act and a safeguarding necessity, as some perpetrators are surviving relatives.

Vacation Bible School

GCM regularly conducts Vacation Bible School for children in the village and surrounding communities. The 2026 edition, "One Way: Jesus", reached approximately 320 children with bilingual English and Telugu materials, four team groupings, teacher guides, and a full event schedule.

We have faced opposition from some local groups over Vacation Bible School, but many villagers have stood up for us.
